There's no way that this
collaboration between the veteran saxist and boogie piano specialist Al
Copley could equal the searing power of Singer's late-'40s/early-'50s
sides for Savoy; a few too many years had passed for Singer to play in
the same searing fashion. But his jazzy riffs and Copley's keyboard
antics are enjoyable enough in their own right.
